The Lactate Threshold refers to the point during intense exercise where lactate builds up more quickly than it can be removed from the system. It is one of the most effectively used physiological markers of performance. Utilising the lactate threshold to determine training zones can greatly improve endurance performance.
Please note - Athlete must have HRM chest strap and GPS watch
What it involves:
- A progressive run test lasting from 40-60mins
- Calculated bespoke heart rate training zones
- Training recommendations
